Matt, You are quite welcome and it seems as if you fixed the loudness also (or my ears were too sensitive last night).
It sounds fine now.
Max :)
In the original file the volume was ok.

Hello Bart:
I've uploaded another story for this collection.
Source: http://wilkinsfreeman.info/Short/HallBedroomSS.htm
Author: Mary Elizabeth Wilkins Freeman
Title: The Hall Bedroom
Duration: 38:16
Location: https://librivox.org/uploads/bart/ghohor26_hallbedroom_m_e_w_freeman_mb_128kb.mp3

I've my eye on another two stories that would fit this collection if such will not be seen as monopolizing it.

Best regards,
Matt

Section 4 PL Notes
The end of section identifier is missing, between the last word and the 10 seconds of silence

At the end of the section, say:
“End of [Story Title]"
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"

All else fine :)

Whoops, must have chopped it in my editing frenzy. Corrected, and the revised duration is reflected below.

Thanks! I'll do so over the next couple weeks, or as time allows.

The file above is now PL OK but not yet in MW. I will mark it when it shows up there :D

p s Your term "chopped it in my editing frenzy" brought to my mind a picture of one of those chefs who speed chop with giant cleavers, and you surrounded by a flurry of bits of chopped recording tape.

Bart, Can you remove the ~ in front of the project name and the line This collection is looking for a new DPL! at the top of the thread? It would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Max :)

Hi Bart,

I'd like to contribute a read of Arthur Machen's "The Shining Pyramid," but I had a question before I started recording. Project Gutenberg doesn't seem to have a copy of the story, but I found it on Project Gutenberg Australia (http://gutenberg.net.au/ebooks06/0606971.txt). The short was originally published in 1895, so public domain isn't an issue. Does it matter that the text I'd be reading from comes from Down Under?

As long as the story is PD in the US, the source is irrelevant.
Go ahead!

This is still not showing up in the MW, and I don't know how to do that. I'm just trying to make sure it doesn't get missed as other stories are added.
