Hello and welcome to Librivox!
I'd love to have you participate in this project. I'll reserve this section for your, but before you start to record . . .
Please complete your one minute test so that we can verify that your tech specs are correct. There are a couple of pages on the wiki that will show you how to do this, namely the One Minute Test page and the Newbie Guide to Recording page.
This is NOT an audition! But in order to put our finished projects out on Archive, we need to be consistent in the technical set up of each file. Here we'll check that on a short bit of nonsense text before you start working on the book chapter.
Once you record and upload your one minute test, post it here, or over in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum so we can check it.
Second, I will need to know your catalog name. This is the name that all your contributions will appear under in the Librivox catalog. This can be your forum name, but it can also be your real name, a pseudonym, or whatever else you like. I personally use my real name (Patrick Wells).
These are both one time things. Once you get them done, you don't have to do them again.
Once again, welcome to Librivox! I hope you enjoy your time here.

Sections 1 and 2 were well past the extended deadline, so I have orphaned them . . . and claimed them myself.
