PL Notes on Chapter 3:
Your volume is a bit high at 92.8 dB. Our target 89 dB, but anything between 87 and 91 is OK. It sounds like you might have the input volume on your microphone set a bit high. If you are using audacity, you can bring that down using the slider bar next to the mic at the top of the screen. I personally think it is better to record a bit lower and then if needed amplify after recording to get the file at the right level. That way I avoid clipping (where the top and bottom of the wave forms get cut off).

I can bring the volume on your file down during cataloging, so I'll mark it PL OK, but do please check on the input volume of your mic for future recordings.

I'm sorry, I didn't see your comment about the volume until after I made this recording. I should have checked. I've adjusted the slider bar on Audacity, and hopefully the problem won't recur on future recordings.
