Oh, I just meant, if there is a "~" in the Title of a thread, like here
~[OPEN][Italiano] Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie - kit
, that means that there is no DPL yet (you know, the part Sonia usually does or I did at the Rime). In if it should happen, that you get bored or so at some point and don't know what to do... ;) The title just looks nicer without that curvy character, don't you think? <lookingasinnocentaspossible>
[/quote]

I'm tempted to try, since the suggestion comes from someone "lookingasinnocentaspossible"
What should I do? :hmm:
I suppose it is similar to what I'm doing (or better I should be doing) in "contos phantasticos" with Sonia.

Yes, excactly, that's what you'll do. Thank you so much :9:

Sonia, I can't edit this in, can you please add Pier as DPL in the MW? :) Thank you :)

I'm on it. Welcome back, Pier, and thank you for helping out :9:

Yes, as DPL you basically listen to the sections of other readers, check the technical settings are ok, and there are no stumbles and repeats, or errors that change the meaning, or passages that are unclear. Like you did in Contos.

Mayah92 wrote: February 4th, 2019, 2:17 pm :D Hi,

Here is my section 7: 21min 51secs
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/alicenelpaesemeraviglie_07_carroll_128kb.mp3
I cheeked it and it is nicely read and O.K. :D with just two small remarks:

- At the beginning at 34,0 seconds you mention the title of the chapter but not the number. I suggest you add "capitolo 7" to make it easier to identify it for the listener.

- At point 1.56 minutes you read "non ce n'è punto" after " con modo attraente". This sentence is not present in the text there. It is present just a few lines after, where you read it correctly. So please delete the first "non ce n'è punto".

Please make this two small corrections in your file and upload it again to enable me to mark it as PL O.K.

I always was tempted to stand to attention while listening to the king; he for sure is redoubtable

I have two little notes, but they don't hinder me to give the PL OK:
- There are three fines at the end; the fine from the book and the fines from the disclaimer. I leave it to your decision if you want to cut out the first fine.
- The last fine comes a bit hesitant. I liked it ("Oh, is the story really alread finished?"), others may think different, I don't know what to suggest.

Let me know what you decide :) In any case it is a worthy end for Alices adventures

I like very much the "fine": "Oh, is the story really already finished?" :D
and I would like to use it,
but I couldn't find it :hmm: in the text I downloaded from http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/28371
Did I miss something?
Please clarify.

Unfortunately it is not in the text, you are absolutely right. It was what I thought when I heard the hesitant "fine" (the last of the three; the end of the disclaimer); it sounded like you were sad that the story is finished :) And I loved it because it was just so nice and comfy listening.

Pier, something to listen for you. :) Pronunciation included please (you may be strict as long as errors are sparse enough that you aren't more busy with writing notes than listening ;), I need to straighten up my Italian :)
