Hi Todd, I just noticed there's an unclaimed "wife" in act 5... Could I claim that one please?

Oops - only when I saved the recording did I notice that I already took (a large) part in this play...

So, in order not to come twice in the same act - together with Melinda - you can scrap this one as you see fit:
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/recruitingofficer_wife_5.mp3

If you do listen to it, then...
- there are two recordings of the 3 lines, the first with the new mic, the second with the old one, with a beep in between.
I have treated both recordings the same (removing mains hum, the main 2 frequencies), but did not do any noise cleaning.
Could you please tell me which one you prefer/which one sounds better? I'd love to start reading again, but to my ears both recordings have their pros and cons...

Thanks for your help!
Cheers, Ava.

Having just uploaded my first contribution to Librivox early this morning, let's go wild, and try for two...

Can I have section 6, Justice Scale ?

(Also, just so I'm sure I didn't miss anything, the "All Justices" part is just one line (word), correct?)

I was pretty sure that you could handle different characters without problem. I will listen and let you know if it confuses.

Welcome on board. I think you are correct about only one "all". What I do with "all's" of any sort is mix the multiple submitals together so one more or less usually makes little difference anyway.

Please make sure you record a voice credit ("Justice Scale, Read by -----") in your file and leave plenty of space between lines so I can visually see where they break for the cutting and pasting of assembly.

Enjoy, Todd

PL OK.

To my ears both recordings are the essentially the same. With my tinnitus I am a poor judge though!

I don't know if you saw this, but could I claim Justice Balance?
