Section 13 (13:18) uploaded: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/morallettersvol1_13_seneca_128kb.mp3.

I've started adding the letter number in the name tag, and "Vol. I" in the album tag. I'll update previous tracks' tags when I re-upload them soon as I mentioned.

There's really no need to change these, or even to add them to your files. All the tags on your file will be automatically overwritten when I catalog the project. The track tags will be overwritten with what you have in the section titles of the MW. The album tag will be overwritten with the Project Name that you see at the top of the page when you are in the MW to make edits. If you want to change the project name, tell me what you want to use and I'll change the info in that field.

Thanks.

PL Report, Sections 10, 11, 12, and 13: All A OK.

I admire the way you recite and how Seneca thinks.

Got it. I'll gladly leave it alone. :)

Thanks! It means a lot to a beginner like me.

Agreed! I love his little "gifts" at the end of each letter.

Section 14 (14:57) uploaded: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/morallettersvol1_14_seneca_128kb.mp3.

Timoleon, is Section 09 OK? Thanks again for catching those mistakes.

I am sorry Felipe, I did not realize you had modified the original submission of Section #9 per the PL report. I just looked through the thread and could not find a post referring to this. Have you uploaded a new version?

It's engraved in my memory, as my first mistake-ridden upload. From page 4:
TimoleonWash wrote:PL Report Section #9: I suspect you might have done what I have done so many times when recording such great material; become so transported in the words and thoughts that I get a bit distracted. Thus:

At 4:46 the sentence beginning, "Let us now return..." is missing.
At 5:08, a sentence is repeated.
At 13:53, the sentence, "My goods are all with me" is missing.

Thanks Felipe. I did not realize you had done this. Old LibriVox hands will create a post notifying everyone that a section has been modified per the PL Notes, and has been uploaded. Something like this:

"Re-submission of section #X modified per the PL Report.
URL from the upload"

So I think you just told me that you uploaded the new version and it is now ready for a spot check and I will spot check it now.

Understood, thanks.

Section 15 (09:26) uploaded: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/morallettersvol1_15_seneca_128kb.mp3.

Checker shows the background noise as 43.6, and I left it at that point because the noise removal tool won't bring it down any lower, and I'm afraid to turn up the settings on the noise gate tool I've been using for reducing noise in the silences, because then it starts to affect my voice at the trailing end of words.

Sections 01-10 and 12 re-uploaded with the epistle number inserted before the title, otherwise the same. This adds one or two seconds to each, which I added to the MW notes.

MaryAnn, I just thought of something: If I would like these numbers to appear before the title in the ID3 tags (for example "1. On Saving Time"), do I need to write those in on the project page?

Filipe,
During the catalog process, the section number will be added to the front of whatever you have in the title field of the MW. We ask people not to start the section title field with a number because then you get double numbers in the section titles during cataloging.

It's amazing how unobservant I am sometimes. Those automatic numbers are just what I need.
