The Christmas Dinner by Shepherd Knapp (1873-1946)

Volunteers outside the USA: Shepherd Knapp died in 1946. His/Her work is still protected by copyright in places, like Europe, Where copyright is Author’s death plus 70 years.
A cute little Christmas play about a visit from Santa and some magical plum pudding. When complete, this will be included in the Multilingual Christmas Collection for 2014.

Please note: All Librivox recordings are in the public domain. When you submit your recording, you will be placing your recording in the public domain as well.

New to recording? Please see our Newbie Guide to Recording for further instructions. A quick guide to our required technical settings can be found here. When you post your file, please tell the BC the name you would like to use for catalog credit.

Prooflistening level: Special proof listening - dramatic works. Prospective PL'ers, please see the Listeners Wanted FAQ.

For individual roles:
Submit one file per scene. Leave 1-2 sec space between your lines (room noise, not generated silence).

Filename:
For individual roles: christmasdinner_role_#.mp3 where # is the act number. (e.g. christmasdinner_mother_1.mp3)

This is a funny children's play, very sweet and suitable listening for the whole family!

Please submit your parts within 1 month of claiming - this is so that I can get the PLing and Editing done before things start getting busy with the year end holidays and so that we can get the finished play submitted to the Christmas Short Works collection by the December 5th deadline over there.
