Mother has snatched a bit of time, between stuffing the goose and making the plum pudding, to record her lines --

Thank you Maria. Hope Mother didn't throw her back out crawling under the kitchen table!

She was actually checking to be sure the kids hadn't been throwing scraps to the dog under the table.

Well ... Old Santa sure had fun crawling under the table! That was a neat trick those elves played on him.

Thank you Ray! Glad you made it through unscathed. I plan to listen and edit in Mother and Grandfather's lines this weekend.

Now, I've never had an issue with DC Offset before, but this apparently had the cutest little bias you ever did see. I'd already edited and saved everything before I ran it through the checker, so normalizing came late. I don't have a good enough ear to say for sure whether that screwed anything up; if it did, I'm happy to rerecord. [Of course, this being dramatic, I didn't do noise removal, or really anything besides leveling and deamplifying, so it may be fine.]

OK, Pasted in Mother, Father and Grandfather tonight.

Maria - your lines are perfect. My mom thinks you sound SOOOO tired! PL OK. Great job!

Ray - you're also sounding pretty tired too and you are PL OK.

Jared - mom thinks you sound like a darn good father! Scenes 1 and 2 are fine, but for Scene 3, I'm missing the "yes yes" and the "good-bye till next Christmas" that everyone says at the end. If you want to load a separate file with just those lines, that would be fine. Label it "3a" or something. You can go ahead and noise clean before you upload.

This is sounding really good! Let's hear it for magic hazel nuts!

Beth and Jared,
Your parts are perfect!

Editing is done . . . I'm running it through auphonics, then a listen myself and it will be ready for Betty, our crack DPL!
