Does your tilde (~) mean you need a PL?
If it does, would you please let me? Thanks!

Karl,

Yes, that's what the tilde means. Glad to have you on board. I see you have DPL'd before so you know the routine. Let me or Ruth know if you have any trouble getting into the MW.

Hi Ruth,

Just to let you know that at last I am blundering my way through Magna Carta section 2,
and hope to post in the not too distant future - tongue-tiedness :?: permitting!

Carol :)

No hurry, Carol. It is a very difficult book, as I am finding myself.

Ruth,

June will be here before you know it (or so I tell myself. It is 5F here tonight and I am thinking warm summery thoughts to compensate . . .). I would love to help out by reading another chapter, but I'm not up to the amount of Latin in 4, 6 and 7. I could do 3, except the appendixes have a lot of Latin. The word count is high enough that I think it must include the appendixes. Did you want those read as well? Or just the chapter itself?

Oh, golly, there is a lot of Latin in those, isn't there?

If you could do 3, then I could add the appendix, unattributed to me ;).

Thank you for reminding me that June is not far away. I really MUST get my sections done before panic sets in.

Ruth,

Well, it's warmed up to -1F here overnight with snow forecast for tonight. Now, the common wisdom (and the Old Farmer's Almanac) would tell you that it has to warm up to snow, so one might think the prospect of snow is a "plus" . . . except it's forecast to warm up to all of 15F for the snow, and then back in the deep freeze for the rest of the week.

So let's celebrate! I'll take 3 and leave off the second appendix that's all Latin. I'll see if I can get through the first appendix . . .

Thanks, MaryAnn. My, I'm glad it isn't that cold here. I am fortunate that we are going through a mild spell at the moment (still no heating).

Carol, I did see and read your post, but it was one of the "disappearing" posts that happened this morning owing to a technical glitch. Hence its vanishment.
