Blame everything on me -- I did not study Latin, and someone who knows corrected me. I, in turn, was confused by Google translator, who said "Yuditsium". :( Sorry.

So please be warned, when my offering finally lands on your doorstep you will find a 'right hotchpotch'! :?

Or even 'sh' - my choirmaster always tells us to pronounce 'excelsis' as 'eggshellseess' .

Goodness! I get back online and discover a regular tangled cats-cradle of Latin pronunciation! I never studied Latin, so the only phrase in this chapter that I recognized unaided was "habeus corpus". If I understand all the previous comments, I gather that Latin, despite being a dead language, still has various accents and pronunciations that are as different from each other as are American English and British English! Who knew? I assumed being dead meant it was a nice quiet well-behaved language with one clear pronunciation!

Well, anyway, I have removed the repeated phrase at 12:40, and otherwise left well enough alone. Since I speak English with a weird Upstate NY accent, I might as well speak Latin with the same accent!

Heh, I really wouldn't worry too much about it, Maria! I remember many moons ago coming across a comment on the Association for Latin Teaching website about an LV recording:
I don’t believe vowel quantities would pass ArLT recording standards.
Let's just hope they never come across this one .

I have decided to add this paragraph to the project summary:
N. B. the readers in this project are not scholars of mediaeval Latin or French. Where there are passages or phrases of Latin and Old French, we have endeavoured to make them clear, but make no claim to authentic pronunciation.
Scholarly listeners can put that in their academic pipes and smoke it ;).

I'm afraid my voice at times showed clear signs of having lost the plot, Ruth!
However, I don't think taking more time to improve it would have made much difference :(
