Hi

I hadn't checked emails/posts until now.
You are fast! or maybe I shouldn't say "fast" as it has other connotations- so how about quick, speedy etc.

How about "bored, with time weighing heavily on my hands"? Well, at least at that time. :)

Hi Tricia,

time flies and I haven't done a thing...
Could I please get an extension for my section? It will take a bit still, it's hot and noisy here at the moment.

Thanks!
Cheers, Ava.

Yes, that's fine. Thanks for checking in. :)

I'm reopening section 3. Jennifer65 - do you want it, since you read the other parts of that chapter?

Thank you, Maria!

Thanks, Jennifer! There's no huge rush on the section, since there are still a lot of parts not recorded. :)

Tricia, here is the dedication and foreword (I have not called it "section 0", sounded a bit strange...) at 25:26:
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/finalreport_00_deepwatercommission_128kb.mp3

I have had a few issues with my computer during this recording - unrecorded words and such - I hope I found them all...

Thanks for your patience!
Cheers, Ava.

Hi Tricia,
I am going to try and break this mountain down into small chunks this weekend, so that I can have ch.6 of the recording finished and to you, this coming week.
Thank you for ALL of your patience with this.
(any advice is appreciated)

This project does have dauntingly long sections, that's for sure! When I was just starting out, I looked for projects with sections in the 15-20 minute range. On this project, we seem to be running about 30-40 minutes per section. But don't let it discourage you! A 30-minute section is merely two 15-minute sections stuck together!
My advice is taken straight from what you wrote yourself -- "break the mountain down into small chunks." The section that I've just finished was worked on in small chunks of about 15 minutes each, which made it much more manageable. When it gets tiring and you've had enough, you can just stop and do some more later. (Just don't forget to hit "Save" after each work session! I speak from unfortunate experience on that point!)
Welcome to LV! You'll be an old hand at this before you know it!
