Patty. Regarding getting into the MW. I have had to relearn stuff that I'd forgotten. Sorry if you knew all this already.
You (and I and every BC and DPL) have a password for the FORUM and a password for the WORKFLOW. These are usually different and can be reset separately. I truly had forgotten this. Probably you need to reset your workflow password. Here is a link showing how to do it.

Give this a whirl and let me know. Gee...I'm learning stuff myself.

Hurray! Resetting the work flow password worked.
Thank you so much for the suggestions about the MP3 player problem. I have been loading whole folders of files unzipped from the zip files as download, and sometimes it works. Uncle Tom's Cabin was perfect; others come scrambled on the player though they are in order in the folder . I will ask again in the help needed forum.
Meanwhile I'm getting my mother started with a few commercial audiobooks that don't present any problems.
Tomorrow I'll be out of pocket, but will check in Thursday to see if any of the few remaining files to be uploaded have come in.

Pattymarie. Your public library probably has free commercial audio books available through Overdrive. I download from them all the time and they work very well.
EDIT: And I am very happy both of us worked out how to reset our 'workflow' passwords.......

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry I've been away for a long time now but my laptop is dead and I won't be able to rerecord or repost my edited versions of chapter 1 and 2. You may open them for readers again since it's no way near to have access to a decent pc.
Thank you and sorry again for all the trouble I just want the project to keep going

OH, I am so sorry to hear that; I know it is extremely frustrating to have a computer/laptop die. With you permission I will try to fix the problems with those files because we really want to keep your voice in this project.Salma97 wrote:Hello everyone,

Salma97 - I am sorry; I tried all my tricks but could not get rid of the problems in those two sections. I will be putting them back in the pool for someone else to record. At least you do have one section pL Ok so when you get your laptop fixed (or a new one) you can come back to LibriVox strong. Thanks for being agreeable to this.

I will indeed pray for you to come back soon and be well. It has, and will be, been fun.Salma97 wrote:You're welcome Phil and thank you for your time. It's been a great pleasure to record with you! Pray for me to come back soon
