Since I was doing Chapter 12, I've recorded both Holmes and Altamont. I need someone else to PL them against the text please. (I was struggling a bit with the accent for Altamont, and I think it sort of migrates around America, but I figure it is Holmes in disguise anyway so if the accent isn't perfect it will have to do.)

Due to a little fast shuffle, the part of Martha in Chapter 12 is now open again.

Can I do Mr. Peters? :D
The surest way to eliminate a right is to declare it an obligation

The part of the Railway Officer in Chapter 6 has been reopened. It's about 6 lines long, gender neutral.

Chapter 4 is PL OK, but it needs the voice credit at the start.

Chapter 5 one word is not clear: at 03:24 "there projected the white haft of a knife driven blade-deep into his body." I think it would be nice to be really clear about what that knife is doing!
(No voice credit required for Chapter 5, as this one is the second part of the story.)

How about I sign up for both both the railway officer and Gennaro the Italian?

Narration for Ch 2 is PL OK!

Just one note for the editor: at 01:07 there is a rather long pause, as if a speech was meant to be inserted, can we close that up in editing please?

That would be fantastic! Gennaro doesn't actually have many lines - about 6 or 7 from memory, so don't worry too much about the accent.

And we are now FULL! :9:

Narration for Ch 3 is PL OK, just needs voice credit. I have marked these in the MW separately from the one which actually needs an edit.

Holmes Chapter 3, quite a long file at 16:38. I think these can go directly to editing, as we don't have a DPL. They can be checked in the final chapter versions, and I can make alterations then. I'll still be here to makes them, as I'm not going anywhere! ;)

What a relief that you found Arnaldo to read Gennaro! One of my directors of engineering, Fulvio, has a lovely Italian accent, and i hated the prospect of butchering that melodious accent with a poor imitation. I'm glad you are fully subscribed, Beth! You can move ahead under a full head of steam. I need to spend time on the Airplane Flying Handbook. You sure dont need any drama in flying an airplane but a little dash of dramatic reading as a railway officer on the side is just the ticket. :D
