Thank you, Masa San and Glenn :).

SOTE: If the publication date is 1924, then this poem will still be protected by copyright in the USA I'm afraid, despite being PD in most other places in the world. To be automatically PD in the US, it must be published in 1922 or earlier.

Okay, here are the two contributions I signed up for and one more which I hadn't previously claimed.

https://librivox.org/uploads/ruthieg/9anni_ninetyandnine_clephane_at_128kb.mp3
• The Ninety and Nine
• Elizabeth C. Clephane (1830 - 1869); Ira D. Sankey (1840-1908)
http://library.timelesstruths.org/music/The_Ninety_and_Nine/
• 3:47, 3.45 MB

https://librivox.org/uploads/ruthieg/9anni_ninetyandninestory_sankey_at_128kb.mp3
• The Ninety and Nine from My Life and the Story of the Gospel Hymns and of Sacred Songs and Solos
• Ira D. Sankey (1840-1908)
https://archive.org/details/mylifeandstoryg00sankgoog
• 12:24, 11.3 MB

https://librivox.org/uploads/ruthieg/9anni_ninethousandmanuscripts_anonymous_at_128kb.mp3
• Nine Thousand Manuscripts
• Anonymous ( - )
http://hdl.handle.net/2027/umn.31951000918410l
• 5:06, 4.66 MB

May I also claim "Curly Locks" from "Nine Little Goslings" by Susan Coolidge? (Or does a story from a compilation with nine in the title not count for this purpose?)

The link is here (http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search/?query=nine+little+goslings); I half recorded it over the weekend before discovering that the Archive copy was missing two pages.

Also, after reading over "Captain of the Nine" (linked in the second post), I think I'd like to read the whole book as a solo. If I do that, could I still post one of the chapters to this collection?

Thanks,

BookAngel: Thank you. The story from Nine Little Goslings will be fine. We don't have the same recording in the catalogue twice, so if you're going to solo the whole book, don't submit a chapter here as well, please. But good on you for soloing it! :D

Glenn: Thank you for Psalm 9 :).

Okay, that's what I wasn't sure of. I'll go ahead and plan on the solo, and if someone else wants to read a chapter here, they can. Thanks for the clarification, Ruth!

In the meantime, I'll keep browsing "nine" titles and see if anything else strikes me. Maybe see if I can work my way up to nine selections...but don't hold me to that! This collection has me energized again after several months of near-stagnation! :D

I've just PL'ed this and there's a glitch at 1:32
A stumble/ then repeated corrected reading " When he maketh inqui-"
in the line "When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them:"

Everything else in the recording is fine.

This appears to be the first German contribution this year:

Martin Bermann

Thank you, and may there be many more!

I think it may be Moritz, not Martin? This fellow? http://www.aeiou.at/aeiou.encyclop.b/b349576.htm
