Hi and welcome to Librivox!
You an certainly stake your claim before your test is approved (and you won't be turned away... the admins may make suggestions for improving to bring your recording up to Librivox standards, but they won't reject you ) However, it is a good idea to not actually record sections until you get the go-ahead.

Before we make things official, you will need to be entered in the catalog. To do that, I would need to know how you wish to appear: most people use their real name, but a pseudonym or your forum name are fine.
Apart from that, feel free to browse the forums while you wait. When you come to record, be sure to read the first post - it has all the info you need, but if anything needs clarification just ask, or look in the wiki (link at the top of the page).

Adam, thank you... but can you please clarify: the file number needs to match the section number. You claimed sections 159 and 160. If you recorded section 154, that's fine as it's still open. The chapter numbers do not match the section numbers after Psalms.
If you recorded 159 or 160, please re-upload using the correct file names.
