Welcome, Royale! I've assigned you those two sections.

- Please do the one-minute test and get it OK'd before starting in on these. It'd stink to record them, only to learn that there's a setting wrong in your recording setup that requires you to re-do them. :?

- I've entered your catalog display name as Royale as well. Please let me know if this is OK. (This is what will show up on the catalog pages, go on CD covers, etc.) If you click on your name in the Magic Window and open it in a new tab/window, you'll see your reader page. On there is a link, something like "Reader Section Details" and it'll show you your claimed sections and at what stage in the process they are. 8-)

I have to take some time off because of a move. Will get back within 1 or 2 weeks. If this presents a problem that needs me to be replaced, I understand. Otherwise I will see (hear) all of you then.

Sounds good. This isn't moving very quickly, so I don't think we need to fire you.

Originally I said I would need one or two weeks off for a move. It's going to be longer than that. I probably will need off till mid-September. Again, if that means I get replaced, so be it. But I should be back about mid-September.

I'll put you in. Welcome!

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a personal web site or blog, if you have one. CLICK HERE for an example of what I'm talking about. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

I see in your intro thread that you're excited about this. If these two sections whet your appetite, I'd be willing to turn over the sections I've got assigned to myself but haven't recorded yet. :) We'll talk about it when the time comes.
