Thank you!!
May I ask how to reduce the sound level please. And should I then upload it again?
Thanks again!

Go to Audacity, select the entire file (CTRL+A) and use Effects | Amplify. The adjustment amount is the difference between 89 dB and dB of your recording (it is 93.3 dB for this one). Positive numbers increase volume, negative numbers decrease volume.
How to change audio volume in Audacity you can find here:
http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Amplifying
or in the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUOXerfR_08

After reducing the volume please upload the file again with the same name.

Cheers

Here the recording with reduced amplification. Please inform whether this is acceptable.
Thank you!

Very nice project. I will find something to contribute with.
Great day to everybody.

Hi ShiNeko,

It looks like my section 3 got stuck and never stirred past the Ready for PL stage :( ... I was wondering... Possibly I picked the wrong project  ... Of course, there is no hurry... Just let me know f there is anything wrong.

Take care, :)

Hi Fannie!
I'll look for French listener. Don't worry! If we don't find any, I'll PL it myself. :)
Cheers

Hi ShiNeko,

Please don't bother to do any PLing yourself! There is no hurry whatsoever. Isn't there plenty of time until the of the project? Or did I not take my time to finish my recording? Besides I am currently working on another recording.

Cheers, :)

Hi ShiNeko,

I've had a go at an old Spanish poem. Hope this works... if not, let me know!

Best,
Kasper

Hello Kasper!
Thanks for the contribution. It seems like a new publication (2010?), I'm not quiet sure we can use it. Is there one that was published before 1923?
Cheers

ED I've tried to find it but I don't know Spanish so it was useless.
I found this. Maybe you'd find something interesting for you. :)

Hi,

Thanks for checking... but the woman died in 1859 and her poetry was published in magazines. Wouldn't that make the poem admissible? I'm sure this internet site isn't the first place where this poem was published.

The (c) 2010 refers to the design of the internet page, that's no reason not to record it.

When Babelfish got it right, only some of her poems were published in a magazine and we don't know if the one you recorded was among them or not. That is the critical point. For LV it needs to be published before 1923 and I can see no proof of that.

The text is clearly pd in Europe, so maybe you want to submit it to Legamus? http://legamus.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=313
I listened to the recording and it sounded PL OK (I don't speak Spanish, thought.) Legamus uses a different disclaimer, of course. Oh, and your recording is stereo, it needs to be mono.

I am about to catalog the Legamus collection it the next days. Please tell me, if you want to submit it there, so I can hold off the cataloging.
