Recording this took about 10x longer than it should have because it's Saturday and everyone is running around the house trying to get things done (and being extremely loud in the process). My dad and brother were upstairs hammering right above me. *sigh* I did my best!

Great job - if you hadn't told me, I would have assumed you were in a silent recording studio! Perfectly clean recording!

Chapter 2.3 PL notes:

at 23:28 the line should be the Interpreter's "Take these my daughters" (Christiana's line has been inserted instead)

The second section of the song, Mercy's lines, has a rather odd tinny quality different from the rest of the chapter. Is this from the file itself, or is it some processing problem?

We only need 5 seconds of silence at the end for a file less than 30 mins long, so you can cut 5 seconds of silence. (I think there's currently 11s actually.)

Very nice editing job, especially the combined lines! Mercy and Christiana speaking together comes across very clearly!

Apart from what you've just done, there is really anything.(except for reminding me to hurry up)
I think that all I have to is upload a few files and get one of my brothers to record one sentence. I been intending to do that last thing for a couple of weeks.

Thanks Kim, those edits were super smooth and whatever you did to Mercy's file made it sound fine!

Chapters 2.5 and 2.8 also need small, fairly simple edits. Most of the notes are on p42 and p43, I think. I can explain if the notes are not self-explanatory, but I know that all the relevant files/lines are available.

I'm not sure about Chapters 2.6 and 2.7 - I think Bria needs to do those.

@27:36 there are two little paragraphs of "birdsong" which I think would sound better from a different voice apart from the narrator. I'll have a quick crack at recording them and upload them for you, if you wouldn't mind adding them in when you make the other corrections? (I won't do a voice credit for them, just stick them in please.)

Hi Beth, I've edited Chapter 2.5 and in about 10 minutes it will be ready to spot check. You're notes are always so wonderful and never take me long to edit them! Thanks for your careful PLing and such helpful edit suggestions!
I've put a time down where my edits were so they are easy to spot check.
@1:01 Starts where I fixed Mr. Great Heart's lines
@2:06 I added his lines in
@27:37 is where I put the singing in, which was very nice btw. I liked that idea, thanks for putting it together!

EDIT: at 25:19 there is a line missing from Valiant (Shakira) "So I did..." the rest of the speech is correct. Shakira reuploaded the corrected version of the file, but it must have been after you downloaded it. The missing bit is at 3:15 in her file, I just checked.

(Sarah has now uploaded the song, so both of these changes are ready to go.)

I'm glad you approved of the "birdsong" - it sounded a little odd to me. My microphone is off being repaired, so this was recorded direct into the computer and the sound quality is not half so good. Ah well, I guess "birds" don't sound exactly like Christian - which is probably a good thing!

If I get some time tomorrow I'll have another look at Chapter 2.7. I'm stuck at home as my car has broken down!
