I just stuck the PL OK on it, since I as BC am OK with the deviation from the text. I figured it'd save you a step. :)

Hi Tricia

I have a question, please: Should the lack of "quote"/"end quote" before and after the actual reading of the quote be flagged as a PL note?

I'm listening to Part 4, Chapter 48a right now,

Thanks

No, I don't think it needs to be flagged, unless it's really unclear that it's a quote. But even then, short phrases in quotes need not be specified as a quote. So it's really a matter of taste. But I wouldn't make an issue of it if the rest of the recording is OK.

Ok,Tricia.
I knew it's highly recommendable to specify it if it's a well-known quote, not matter its length,
but not sure about the recommendations for the rest.

Thanks!

Hi Larry

Section 37/Part 4, Chapter 48a , everything ok except a bit read twice. Please edit it out,

25:03-25:27--"On the railroads threatened with destruction, the armies then fighting the main battles of the war in Virginia had for some time to a great degree depended for indispensable supplies, yet I did not respond to the wishes of those who came in hottest haste for the removal of General Johnston; for here again, more fully than many others, I realized how serious it was to change commanders in the presence of the enemy"

Thanks,
Denise

Hi Larry

Section 38//Part 4, Chapter 48b is ready for PL:OK, I have listened to it and everything is ok.
I'd like to ask for a 2-3 seconds at the end of the reading to be edited out (I think 10 secs are the limit), nothing else.

Great reading, thanks!
