I have uploaded both my recordings, I apologize for taking the full two weeks. It was the end of the semester and a few things came up that prevented me from recording.
Let me know if there are any issues or problems with my recording, I will have time tomorrow to make corrections if needed.

Thanks Alex! I've just had a quick listen to Chapter 13, and it sounds like a draft version? It is full of repeats and finger clicks and such. I'd prefer it if you edited it down yourself to a single version of each line, no other sounds, with 2-4 seconds between lines where other people/narration needs to be cut in. Also, no pauses longer than 1 second in the middle of your speeches.

In Chapter 8 the voice credit is fine - you don't need to read the chapter headings, legal disclaimers and such - all that is read by the narrator.

The quality of your voice and recording is lovely! Volume and pacing are fine too - no need to change anything there!

Also, did you want to appear in the catalogue just as Alex Bogues? Do you have a website or blog or anything you want me to link?

I apologize, I uploaded my pre-edit files by mistake. I have re-uploaded them to the librivox dropbox. Yes, Alex Bogues is fine for the catalogue.

This has been a great experience so far, I really enjoyed the recording!

Chapter 8 is PL OK! Very good! Nice clear recording - well done!

(Maria: there is one repeat of a line which can just be cut out in editing. Also, the voice credit is here which can go into Chapter 1. Thanks!)

I can't seem to get the new file for Chapter 13 - this is the same one as before, still 4:45 long. Can you reupload your post-edit Chapter 13 please, and post the link here so that I can use it? Also, let me know how long the edited file is - that's the quickest way to check that I have the correct one!

It seems the librivox uploader did not overwrite the original file for chapter 13, but it did overwrite the 8th chapter, interesting. I uploaded it under a different file name, here it is.

This is now PL OK! Lovely expressive reading - hilarious how Lestrade claims to have seen it all himself!
