PL Notes for section 38

At the beginning of the file please can you say the following

Book 8 chapter 10 of Amelia volume 2 in place of chapter 38

At the end of the file you need to say the following as it is the end of the book

End of book 8 chapter 10, end of Amelia volume 2

There then needs to be 5 seconds of silence at the end of the file.

The first half of the file is very quiet and the second half of the file is very loud if you are using Audacity you can do the following to solve this problem.

In Audacity select the whole track then apply the following settings for compression

Compression settings: Threshold: -14dB, Noise Floor: -40, Ratio: 2:1, attack and release left default, Make-up gain: unchecked, and Compress based on Peaks: unchecked

Here is a video by Phil Chenevert which shows clearly how to do this.

This may then reduce the overall volume so you may need to amplify the whole file a little bit to bring it nearer to 89dB
