Here we have the Tale of Mr Tod - I've been playing around a bit with my mic and Audacity settings, so I'd be interested to know if the DPL likes this sound better or not as much as my previous stories (Pigling Bland, The Pie and Patty Pan, sections 10 and 12).

There is a passage here, where Benjamin tells Peter that the badger took "7 of them, and all of them twins."
I'm not a mathematician, but shouldn't that be an even number? Unless the badger didn't get all the kids.

This is all personal opinion, so please take it with a grain of salt.
I think the changes you have made have made the audio more 'warm'.
The recording is very clear, and (once again, my opinion) very pleasant to listen to.

The changes that I can tell between before and after would be:
Before: Less Bass
After: More Bass

Before: More 'sterile'
After: More 'warm'

Quite honestly, change it till you are comfortable with how you sound. I think your mic sounds great this way, but honestly I liked how it sounded before as well.
(It is hard to try to listen to the specifics, I love your accent.)

EDIT: Chapter 9 is PL OK.

Yes, I'm not a mathematician either, but I noticed that too! :hmm: Ah well, I guess that's something to discuss with Beatrix Potter!

Thanks for your comments - I had hoped that the changes were an improvement but it is difficult to be objective about one's own voice, I find.

My first section ever recorded with my new Yeti microphone is section 05:

Duration - 7:18

I'm going to give up section 13, even though it's such a great story! I am so exhausted from all the training for my swim competition and I don't think I'm going to be able to find time for this chapter in the next few weeks.

Thank you Sarah and I completely understand.
What races do you swim? I've got my fingers crossed for you.
