I assigned all the readers to the first chapter (some projects are done that way).

I'm kind of confused

Now I'm confused.

I was assigning each character to each chapter they read in. So, since Chapter 3 has "Cedric" "Mother" "Mr. Hobbs" "Dick" and "Everybody" I assigned each reader to Section 3. (Only one problem: who read "everybody"? It's not listed in the MW.) Was I not supposed to do that?

I see! I was doing it the Chronicles way and you were doing in the Esther way. Sorry!

I only assign them to the first chapter. I think we have tended to do it that way since the catalog change a few years ago. Some people might still do it the other way, and that is okay to, but personally I prefer to just do the first chapter - and it is a lot less work!

There are a few reasons for doing this, one of which is if you put several people in one slot, it will only show up as "group" on the catalog page.

The Chronicles is a little different, since every story is separate and not a continuous book. So in that situation, I would definitely do it that way.
