Hello!
I listened the #11 recording :Les trois arbres d"Hudimesnil, extrait d"A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs
I noticed several things, I think they are tolerable :
1) 1:38 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : maison de bréquini
pronunciatoin : maison de béquini
2) 4:50 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : on humiliat
pronunciation : on humiliait
3) 9:07 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : j'avais tiré de la ruse
pronunciation : tiré la ruse
-> It's OK for me

Hello, Bricara,
I have found what the problem is : the text isn't completely downloaded.
Stupid me !
Cheers,
Françoise

Bonjour Bricara san,
Thank you for proof listening.
Section 11 & 14 are both French recordings.
Cheers,

Thank you for proof listening.
I'm confusing. Haven't you listened to Section 14 'Le Baron de Charlus, extrait de Sodome et Gomorrhe'?bricara wrote:I listened the #11 recording :Les trois arbres d"Hudimesnil, extrait d"A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs

Yes, I confirm the fix : The two last links are the right ones.
Hi Ekzemplro,
I don't understand all previous posts. Is a problem with my recording? Could you listen it?
Regards,
Bricara

Thank you. I changed the status of 'Le Baron de Charlus, extrait de Sodome et Gomorrhe' as 'PL OK'.bricara wrote:yesterday I PL section 14.
Today I downloaded it and I listened to it. Your recording is OK. My French is not so good. So I can't do proof listening.bricara wrote:I don't understand all previous posts. Is a problem with my recording? Could you listen it?

Hello Bricara,
I listened to #19 L'Epagneul maître d'école. Here is what I noticed :
- 01:15 : "un, deux, trois" instead of une deux trois
- 01:24 : a long silence
- 01:27 : "en feu" instead of "au feu"
- 02:13 : "roches" instead of rochers
- 09:19 : and at every occurence : pronunciation of Malbroug (pronouced "Malbourg" in the recording)
- Perhaps it would be good to shorten some silences between paragraphs.
Some elements may be overlooked while some other points need editing.
Regards,
Françoise

Hi, Bricara,
Well, I'll listen to it tomorrow afternoon, I don't have the time now.
An did you check the new recordings I posted ? You may find some flaws with them, but I hope they are better : I am new to reading, and it took me a lot of time to edit (I'm not very familiar with Audacity).
Anyway there is a moment when it's better to let it go ; as I told you, it started getting on my nerves and I knew I would worsen the reading by insisting and malipulating the software.
Cheers,
Françoise
