If it is, how can I help?
Good morning, Bricara,

I recorded several poèmes in this section : viewtopic.php?f=19&t=45387&start=15
Here are the links to my recording :

http://librivox.org/uploads/ezwa/Quand_le_ciel_bas_et_lourd.mp3
http://librivox.org/uploads/ezwa/poemes005_recueillement_fc.mp3
http://librivox.org/uploads/ezwa/poemes005_lechristauxoliviers_fc.mp3

There are two poems from Baudelaire, plus one by Gerard de Nerval.
I don't know how you can become PL. Perhaps only by asking for it ?

Cheers

Hello, Masa,

I have just recorded a short story by Maupassant. I didn't see if there was a new section, so I keep it for the time being.

Cheers,

Hello Leni san,

Thank you for your advice.
Leni wrote:I found a tiny mistake in the title of section 10 - it should be Carmina, not Carmmina.
I checked the gutenberg.
It shows as 'CARMINUM'.
Which do I use singular or plural?

For the moment I use 'Carmina'.

MW is updated.
I just noticed your file name doesn't much our rule.
File name all in lowercase: msw010_[work's title]_[author's last name]_[your initials]_128kb.mp3
(e.g. msw010_chunsi_wang_drb_128kb.mp3)
Next time please use initials instead of 'bricara'.

Hello!

I listened the #11 recording :Les trois arbres d"Hudimesnil, extrait d"A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs

I noticed several things, I think they are tolerable :
1) At 3:21 the beginning of a word is pronounced

2) At 4:26 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : je bondis plus avant
pronunciation : je bondis plus en avant

3) At 7:00 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : telle touffe
pronunciation : tout touffe

4) At 9:27 little deviation between text and pronunciation
text : tombera
pronunciation : trombera

Besides that, is OK for me!

pronunciation : destinateur

6) At 4:14 little deviation between text and pronunciation

Hello Masa

Carminum means "of songs" and is used in expressions such as Liber Carminum (Book of songs). As a stand alone word, "Carmina" is the best.

Leni

Hello Bricara,

Thanks for your listening.
From what I read, there are two many mistakes in the two recordings.
So, I should read again and upload on this thread.

Cheers,

Bonjour Françoise san,

The decision is up to you. But let me give you an advice.
Babylon5 wrote:From what I read, there are two many mistakes in the two recordings.

You can edit the sound file using Audacity.
The procedure is as follows.
1) Delete the wrong portion.
2) Insert the re-recorded one.
3) Adjust the volume to make it seamless.

At first sound editing is difficult, but you can soon master it.

Cheers,
Masa

Hello, masa,

Thanks for you advice. I agree that there are two many mistakes.
I have just recorded Le crime au Père Boniface in a new Audacity project.

I can't go on with re-uploading now, I must get going..... to the dentist !

So I think, depending upon how I'll feel after the dentist, I'll Post the new file.
