(Yonenjidai) by Murou Saisei (1889 - 1962) .

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/yonenjidai-by-murou-saisei/

Volunteers outside the USA: Murou Saisei died in 1962. The author's work is still protected by copyright in places, like Europe, where copyright is author's death plus 70 years, and Australia (author's death plus 70 years for authors who died after 1955).
A story based on the author's childhood. He was born in Kanazawa City. He soon became a step child. (Summary by ekzemplaro)
  • Target completion date: 2013-Aug-21
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/001579/files/53013_49685.html
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

I assume the thread title of this project should not be "Furusato", but "Yonenjidai", Masa san!

Anyway, I maybe won't be able to pop in the project frequently during my kids' summer vacation which is from 28 Jul to 20 Aug. If it is not inconvenient for you, I would like to DPL for the project.

regards :) ,

I'm surprised. What a big mistake. I fixed it.

I'll MC this. Glad I didn't before, with the wrong title! Ha ha!

EDIT: OK, it's all set up. Since you have a DPL already, I'll move this to Going Solo now.

Hello Oryo san,

Today I uploaded Section 1,2,3 & 4. Please listen to them.
The sentences are not difficult to read. This book is good for Japanese learners.

Cheers,
Masa

All sections are PL OK!
All fine by me, just for your information, I added little note below, it's up to you whether re-do or not.

*note: 9:19&27 ”河師” read "かし" but ”かわし" if you follow the ふりがな in the same section.

*note: 0:15 "卵色” I heard as たまごらいろ, but it's really tiny sound.

Thanks,
oryo

I'm now thinking to read a longer book.
'Inakakyoshi' by Tayama Katai is a candidate.
I'll soon post this.

Masa
