I've had a death in the family and won't be around Librivox much for the next while. I'll be back ... when I'm back. I appreciate your patience in the meanwhile. :)

I Have a question
on chapter 10 iceberg the poet (me) has a line that says
POET: “Well, what a voice for one so young, I thought at first ‘Big Ben’ had rung!” And, after a moment’s pause, he added: “The Fireman should soon.... ect
is And, after a moment’s pause, he added: my line, because it is brown.

No, this is a narrator line. I will fix in the text - thanks for the catch!! :D
EDIT: Google docs isn't letting me fix this right now - I'll need to try later from my computer at home. ;)

For the Forward, do you want me to say chapter zero, or Forward?

The candlestick-maker (section 21) is PL OK and all lines are in the recording.

Captain Tee-Wee (Section 16) is PL OK and all lines are in the recording.

The town crier (section 8) has a volume that is perhaps a little too high. MP3 gain puts it at 93.4 decibels. Some de-amplification might be in order.

Two notes on the Barber (section 10)

0:32 - word used twice is "really" in text it is "werry" (very). Doesn't really change meaning of the sentence, revise at BC discretion.
0:40 - as how ladies doesn't usually carry. (doesn't left out).

This recording's volume is also a little loud (92.8 decibels). It may need some de-amplification.

There are some issues with the Poet's (section 12) recordings. I believe they may have been corrupted when they were uploaded. Chapter 4 is intact, but all the other chapters currently in the Magic Window link to bad files. They are all 331 Bytes according to my computer and are not recognized as audio files.

There's an issue right now with the status column of the Magic Window. I will change them once it gets fixed.

Enjoy Tom Swift? Perhaps you would enjoy a book about him meeting up with some Diamond Makers
Or perhaps you'd rather talk about music with children.

Could I jump into this project? If multiple roles are allowed, I'd be glad to do the following:

11 Archers Chapter 4,
15 Grandfather Chapter 6,
25 Old-Man-All-Dressed-in-Leather Chapter 11,
29 King Cole Chapter 13,

King Cole would be especially fun, so he's my first choice.

Actually, I see no character labeled "Grandfather" in Chapter 6.
There is one, however, labeled Grenadier who does not seem to appear on the list, so maybe this is what was intended. I can do that one. He says, "Halt" three times!
