This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page:
http://librivox.org/furusato-by-toson-shimazaki/

The author's 2nd collection for children's stories. He tells about his childhood at Magome, Nagano. Fictions & Non finctions are included. At 9 he left Magome and moved to Tokyo to study there. (Summary by ekzemplaro)
  • Target completion date: 2013-Jul-31
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/000158/files/4709_14364.html
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hello Availle san,

Thank you for accepting this project.

Sure.
This book is considered as a children's book. So this is also good for Japanese learners.

Cheers,
Masa

I feel these are more natural.

How lively these little stories are...love the conversation between Toson in chaildhood and the swallow. As a matter of fact, I talk to them (so many swallows are in my town here and there just now) same way even now:oops:

Anyway, Section 12 and 13 are PL OK, Masa san!

thanks,

He chats with a sparrow and trees.

In Section 15 I read 妻籠 as Tsumago.
