Thank you very much, Algy.

Let's see how I can get fixed that; my editing skills on cutting are kind of limited

From bitter experience I can say that usually the quickest and easiest way to make such corrections is to re-record the relevant line or verse.

Oh, one other thing - there were no ID tags. I understand there may be an issue with ID tags for Linux users.

Cheers

Hello Algy san and Monika san,
Algy Pug wrote:Oh, one other thing - there were no ID tags. I understand there may be an issue with ID tags for Linux users.
I checked ID tags. The result is as follows.
$ eyeD3 msw009_waldeinsamkeit_heine_mmc.mp3

msw009_waldeinsamkeit_heine_mmc.mp3 [ 7.56 MB ]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time: 08:16 MPEG1, Layer III [ 128 kb/s @ 44100 Hz - Mono ]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ID3 v2.4:
title: Deutsch - Waldeinsamkeit artist: Heinrich Heine
album: LibriVox Multilingual Short Works Collection 009 year: None
track:
Comment: [Description: ] [Lang: ]
Recorded for LibriVox by Monika M. C.
So the version is v2.4.

Algy san,
Please check ID3 tags with Audacity.
You can see the ID3 tags.
You can't see ID3 tags just by right clicks.

Monika san,
You will be sometimes told that ID3 tags are lacking.
To avoid this you'd better use v2.3 tags.
I use Linux. But I use v2.3 tags.

Cheers,
Masa

Oups, thank you for telling. Normally I'm aware of it because I see it in checker; but I changed the version of checker and didn't see that the setting for checking ID-tags had changed. I fixed it now, so in future recordings it will be 2.3 again :)

Yes, that's what I plan to do. Once I find that precious silent spot when the construction site is quiet, my family not there and there's time... Last week was bad on that :(

And thank you, too, for telling about the ID-tags :) Linux is not the trouble spot, it was my forgetfulness

Hello,
I took the liberty of proof listening to your new recording, Masa san!

07 Japanese - Tsushima Izuharakou nite

Reading is PERFECT, but there is one tiny tech. thing, the file name should not be included upper cases
therefore it should be "msw009_tsushimaizuharakounite_nagatsuka_um.mp3" .
Izuhara should be izuhara. it's like a sort of ”Where's Wally?” thing, isn't it  ?

Thanks,
oryo
