Hello, Masa-san and pani Nastya (ShiNeko),

Here is my feedback on the Demon (sections 3 and 9).
Masa: These are two parts of one poem, and they should go together. As a suggestion, would you please consider switching sections 4 and 9 -- they both belong to ShiNeko, and I hope she won't mind. This way Demon won't be broken -- he is punished enough by the end of the poem :-)

Nastya: Passionate reading! You have invested a lot of effort in the poem; I've noted some minor points -- you may ignore them, unless you want to make it perfect.
General suggestion: you vary the volume a lot, it's hard to listen in the car of while exercizing (as many listeners do). I suggest, in future, to level the volume you turn away from the mic when loud and bend toward the mic when whisper. Alternatively, you can adjust volume with Audacity. Now the details:

Part 1
5:35 text "v nem", I hear "dnem"
6:45 text "po vlage", I hear "vo vlage"
11:00 "oblozhena" stress on the last syllable
17:40 "otsenit" stress on the last syllable
20:55 text "chudno-novyj", I hear "chudo-novyj"

Part 2
1:36-42 uedinEnnyj / smirEnnyj, I hear "yo" sounds
14:55 too quiet
18:18 text "A stoili", I hear "I stoili"
19:30-35 backgroung noise, text "pered", I hear "peredo mnoj"
21:52 text "styazhanij", I hear "styazhenij"
23:05 text "nichej", I hear "nichem"
24:00 text "zhdu kak dAra", I hear "zhazhdu kak darA"
24:58 too quiet
34:10 too quiet
39:32 text "zemlej", I hear "zemel'"

It was a long and difficult poem, good job!

Thank you so-so much, Mark! I'll redo this parts. Oh, and thanks for advices, I do get carried away a lot.

PS I was going to ask to switch this sections as well, so I don't mind.

ED: I've redone parts in the first part
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lz/msw009_poemdemon_lermontov_as.mp3
New duration: 21:13

Also I rerecorded X (9:46-11:27), XV-XVI (16:55-end) fully. And I've redone VII (6:55-7:37) 'cause I didn't like it, I'm sorry.

The second part I'll redo next time. I don't know why but every time I record Demon the rain starts and with thunder too. I'm not kidding.

Hello Anders san,

Thank you for your recording.
Can you change the file name?
Save as mp3 file
File name all in lowercase: msw009_[work's title]_[author's last name]_[your initials].mp3
(e.g. msw009_chunsi_wang_drb.mp3)
Put file name all in lowercase, and the title all in one word (without the square brackets, please, and NO SPACES)
You haven't got OK for your one minute test. So another modification might be needed.

Cheers,
Masa

Hi ekzemplaro,

Here is the file without the "ä": http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lz/msw009_guldhornene_oehlenschlager_ak.mp3

I hope this solves the problem. And of course I'm willing to do a re-recording, if something can be done in a better way.

Hello Anders san,

Thank you for the modification. I filled the information into MW. Please check if they are correct.
Your page is here.
https://catalog.librivox.org/people_public.php?peopleid=8564

Please record the next one. For the moment shorter one is better.
You'll soon accustomed to use Audacity.

Cheers,
Masa
