As you know I have moved recently, and therefore, my recording setup has reverted to whatever I had in the very beginning of my LV adventure.

So, it would be great if you could let me know if this is at all permissible wrt. background noise. I don't seem to have much echo in this room, but my computer is very old and wheezes a lot these days. Together with the ancient headset I have right now...

In the worst case I'd rather relinquish all my sections than have them unlistenable...

Ava, did you apply Noise reduction to your file, I can hear (possibly) the background noise artifacts under your vocals. Perhaps a bit too much NR? Other than that, it sounds okay.

Thanks David, yes I did noise clean. As I don't usually have to do this I may have gone overboard.

I have uploaded a new try with less NC - could you have a quick listen to that one too, please? Unfortunately I can't really do this, as I have very crappy headphones... On the speakers of my laptop however, it still sounds rather grumbly. In the worst case I'll head over to "listeners wanted".

Section 16 (GregGiordano) is a little quiet.
17 and 18 were both exactly 89dB, but 16 is 85.8.
Greg - have you changed your setup or is this just a fluke? Perhaps you could amplify 16 by 2-3 dB.
Otherwise PL OK!

Section 53 is PL OK. Sound quality seems OK to me, Ava!

I am embarrassed that I did not check the volume of Chapter 16 before uploading the first time. I apologize. I have increased the level to what should now be acceptable. Even though the link remains the same here it is so you don't have to take the extra step:
