I'll make it! I had a problem with my microphone, but I finally fixed it (I switched all the buttons on and off until it finally agreed to co-operate) - so, the section is recorded and I just need to edit. I'll be back soon :)
It's the end of term, so I am back! Thank you for being patient with me, and please PM if I don't seem to have caught an update that I should have seen.

Hello Ruth,
All the same as poor Elisabeth Woodcock hidden in the snow for eight days, my PLOK for section 66 was a bit hidden :? in my post of July 11th. It might have been overseen.
I listened to the readings of fink, section 66 and the admirable text of section 85 read by CommonSparrow.
They are excellently read and WP PL ok.

Ah, I am sorry. I did mean to go carefully through the thread to check, but it slipped my mind. Thank you, Herman.

I've done them all and that's added one second to the upload:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/8thanniversary_lovelettersofhenryviii_pm.mp3
28m 17s - 25.9 Mb

The quality of sound on the replacement audio was somewhat different to the original so I've ended up replacing phrases rather than just individual words as the pause then makes the difference less jarring.

Cheers,
Paul

Sections 50 and 67 are PLOK,
Superb reading with this warm voice, literally embracing the text.
And the marvellous singing of this cheerful song, conveys the desire to spend the rest of the day waltzing. :D
I cannot acces section 67 by the link http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015024379045;seq=550

anyway, it is fully understandable so this is not really a problem.

I haven't disappeared - I'm just having to spend a really long time cleaning up my recording. I think I may have done something stupid with the mic placement, or maybe my vocal technique is really rusty, and it's a long one  I'll do what more I can this evening, and then upload.
It's the end of term, so I am back! Thank you for being patient with me, and please PM if I don't seem to have caught an update that I should have seen.
