Thanks, Ava and Phil! :)

I've been pretty tied up PLing Denny's Plague Year and the weekly/fortnightly poetries, so I haven't got around to a lot of other PLing yet, but all these are on my (unmanageably long) list to do soon.

Hi Ruth

I could help out with some of the PLing (including the contributions from Ava and Elli) if you like.

Cheers

Hi Ruth, here's a short piece for the collection, from the depths of the Internet Archive:

International Coinage - A Unit of Eight Grammes, by Robert Noxon Toppan (1836-1901)

MP3: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/8thanniversary_unitofeightgrammes_gb.mp3
Text: http://archive.org/details/internationalco00toppgoog

The length is 10:21, and the size 9.48 MB. Thanks,

Garth

PL update:

Section 3 - The Hunting of the Snark

Splendid reading!

Just a couple of minor slips:

2:33
While the Billiard-marker
I heard
While the Billiard-maker

26:48
Would have taught it in seventy years.
I heard
Would have taught in seventy years.

More PL:
Section 28 - Eight Stories for Isabel

Another tremendous reading. :9:

Just one minor error:
0:49
that are all the time beating water back.
I heard
that are all the time beating water.

Section 26 - For the Eighth of December
PL OK.

Cheers

A small French contribution, written by king Louis XVI himself, and edited in Paris in 1779.
Edit du Roi, Portant création de HUIT Charges de Gardes de la porte de Monsieur.
10 years before the French revolution.

I would love to do:
Introductory Romance From the Pen of William Tinkling, Esq. (Aged Eight) from 'Holiday Romance' by Charles Dickens (1812-1870)
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/809

Is it already taken?

Thank you, Algy. Thank you, Herman :).

Roued: no, it isn't taken. I will put you down for it :). How would you like to be credited in the catalogue? This can be your real name, forum name or a pseudonym. Usually it's best to use whichever name you used in the recording for "Read by..." as this is how listeners will search for you. We can also link to a personal web page if you wish. :)

Here is your personal catalogue page: https://catalog.librivox.org/people_public.php?peopleid=8309 It is useful to keep track of your achievements, and the sections you have claimed. You can access it by right-clicking your name in the Magic Window and opening in a new tab. Many people also bookmark/favorite the page in their browser.

Thank you Ruth,
Could I be credited as either just Eddie or if that is taken then EddieRoued (I take it, it has to be with no spaces or?) and could it be linked to my blog http://roued.com.
Thank you for the link to the catalogue page.
Looking forward to having a go when I get my mic sorted :-)
Eddie
