I interpreted a portion. On page 8, Mr. Eager says: "He is not; he made an advantageous marriage.", the narrator indicates that he ends with a sigh. I have included the sigh in the recording (from 3:42 to 3:47). I am ambivalent about the inclusion. I can edit it out easily if desired, please let me know.

PL Mr Eager chapter 2, 5 and 7, and Powell chapter 19 are all PL OK

I don't mind Mr. Eager's sigh in chapter 5, but I imagine Arielle can edit it out if it does not fit in the flow of the chapter when she edits everything together (please correct me if I'm wrong!).

Powell chapter 19 are slightly loud (92,4).

This is my first dramatic work-DPL I do, is there anything specific you want me to listen for when I start listening to the edited chapter(s), specific for dramatic readings?

I looked around a little bit, but I couldn't find anything about it in the PL/DPL FAQ or anywhere else I looked..

Nothing in particular, just make sure there aren't any repeats or long pauses or anything like that. You don't even need to listen against the text, just listen to the whole thing through to make sure nothing sounds odd.

Do you wish me to re-upload Powell at reduced volume?

There is an odd discrepancy between Audacity and the Checker I haven't figured out yet. I normalize to the same level on every recording (normalize to -1 dB), however the checker reports small differences (on the order of +/- 2dB) between the different recordings. I don't understand quite why.

I prefer not to compression as that reduces the voice dynamic range, which I try to use appropriately during the reading.

There's no need to reupload. I can reduce volume during editing if it's significantly louder than the other parts, but it will probably be just fine.
