Hi there,

Could you please clarify what "PLEASE NOTE: THIS MAY NOT PD BE IN COUNTRIES WITH LIFE +70 CANADA OR AUSTRALIA HOWEVER THE AUTHOR IS AMERICAN" means? I am in the UK...can I record a chapter from this book?

Many thanks! Sarahog

The rule of shorter term means this:
Every country has its own copyright rules. But in Great Britain the copyright laws of the country of origin is recognised. Because this book is already in PD in the US, you are allowed to record.

Therefore it is ok for you to record a section for this book.

Hi thank you for your section just as a note for future recordings you need to save the file as follows

e.g.
jumblebook_57_cory.mp3

it is the name of the author not your own name that goes in the filename

Please don't reupload just for this as it will be done by the MC at cataloguing this is just for your information thanks

Edit:I have now put your name in the catalogue

Looks like section 34 is still available. I'll take it, if no on else wants it.
