Thanks!

Is this the one with the racial junk in it? I saw your post about it elsewhere, not having actually read these myself. I want to note the section so I can place a warning in the summary at cataloging time.

Yeah, there is some racially-insensitive language in this. It's not constant, but it will probably make people uncomfortable.

OK, I've made note. Thanks for the warning.

OHMYGOODNESS! I don't often laugh out loud, but I certainly did so when she lost her eye, then her other one, then... (That must have been what she looked like previous to becoming eyeless!) Very well read!

One PL note:

21:12 - "I have a combat..." repeated at 21:20

Why, thank you! There was some major silliness in this story.

I've deleted the repeated phrase and uploaded the new file.

Above is the section of only Charmion's part. In the same fashion as the last one.

Hi - I would like to tackle section 18 "Maelzel's Chess Player, part 1" and, unless someone else wants it in the meantime, I can continue on to do part 2. Thanks!

Howdy from Texas!

Here's

09- DIDDLING

29:34

Diddling means something a lot different to Poe. It's not loafing, it's swindling. But it was fun nonetheless....

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

Section 9: So that's what diddling is!

4:00 - stumble & repeat: "the one is to the other"

11:53 - stumble & repeat: "but he is a very long time"

Here is the edit of section 20, The Power of Words (8m17s):
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tg/worksofpoevol4_20_poe.mp3

The joins between each phrase sound ok to me, but please let me know if any of them sound a bit rough - I've kept the project file, just in case
