Hi ReneLaCroix!

No, no need to worry in this case. Sometimes it simply isn't possible to find info on the author. :D

Hi aravis,

Here is one for the collection:

The Strange Little Girl
by V.M. COPYRIGHT 1911, BY KATHERINE TINGLEY (1847-1929)
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/23671
duration 52:32 48.1MB

Would it be better to have this broken into two sections? I've read instructions for book reading that sections are best less than 40 minutes in length, but maybe that makes it more confusing for listeners to get the whole thing out of a collection.

Hi Tim!

Thanks a lot! :D

In a collection it's better to have one story per section...

Hi Elli! I'm sorry I'm taking so long! I did the recordings, but then our computer broke so they are lost. :( I will try to get them to you ASAP.

Ok, I amplified it a little and used a notch filter on audacity (but just the one that does a general sweep of the whole file, I did not pick particular peaks or anything). I think it sounds a little better, but I am not sure. Thank you aravis and JB for the help:)

Hi darkhorse21!

Thanks a lot! :D

Edit: Your recording is still a little too quiet.... it's 83dB and we aim for 89dB. (I always check the volume with mp3Gain: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php )

David the Shepherd Boy: the silence at the end should be 5 secs. (otherwise it's PL:OK! :D )
