COMPLETE: The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle by Hugh Lofting
I was introduced to Dr. Doolittle through the movies, but never knew the origin of the character.
Since I've recorded The Swiss Family Robinson and am doing The Mysterious Island, it's obvious I'm a sucker for shipwreck stories! So, I'm going to reach way over and claim sections 46 and 47. (Best plan I've seen for getting un-shipwrecked: talk the whales into pushing you to civilization! Perfect!)
And then I want 48 and 49, because I'm a sucker for war stories, too!

I would like to read Part 6 Chapter 4 - The Sea Serpant.
I could use help with the pronunciation of "Popsipetel"...

well part 6 chapter 4 is yours. As for "popsipetel" your guess is as good as mine. I'd say "pop-see-PEET-ul" Does anyone else have any good idea of how this is to be said.

With the Indian involvement, I got more of a Mayan (or was that Aztec?) feeling about it, and I took it as "pop-see-PET-ul".metal.lunchbox wrote:well part 6 chapter 4 is yours. I don't suppose Hugh Lofting could be asked...
