Certainly and welcome to this 'Dickens' of a project. The introduction is actually the last section in this project, is that OK? It is about Dickens as a writer and family man.darkhorse21 wrote:I would like to read the introduction please.

It is an interesting introduction, certainly an idealized portrayal of Dickens. Love your signature by the way

I have a confession to make: I started working on the section before getting the go-ahead
Sometimes I get on a roll, and I just like to keep going... Though there are a couple projects I got dropped from because I was distracted with school and other things. I should be going full tilt for the next while though, because I'm taking time off school and I love doing this, it's so relaxing

PLEASE........In the last two days of recording I am finding that the sound keeps getting garbled. It sonds as if I was recording under water. It happens on some but not all of the recording and I find myself going back and forth listening and cutting listening and cuttoing. This was not happenign two day ago and I went through a whole section of reading and editing with no prblems.
I am using Audacity, a pc and window 7. I don't remember changing anything at all. Does anyone know what's going on and if this can be stopped. It's killing my vocals. I could of had this projeect completed by now. Thanks in advance.

'garbled'? hmmmmm. sound like a setting got changed or something. If you noise clean too much it can produce the 'tin can' effect. I would suggest uploading a sample to Listener's wanted forum and asking for others' opinion. Don't get discouraged; strange things happen bur are usually fixable.JaySands wrote: PLEASE........In the last two days of recording I am finding that the sound keeps getting garbled. As Phil says, upload a sample and let's see if I can work out what is going on. Post in your test thread, Jay, then I can compare with your previous ones. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=43529JaySands wrote: PLEASE........In the last two days of recording I am finding that the sound keeps getting garbled.
