Because I know the new part would begin itself on a different track and I am not sure if you would want that or if I should just try to repeat the words I mess up on every time and correct my mistakes that way.
If you edit carefully, it should be useable - but I was told it's best just to keep going (go back to the beginning of the sentence and repeat it) as it is easier just to cut out the 'blooper' when you edit. Sometimes I find the same sentence has to be repeated 3 or 4 times, so I just make sure to edit carefully. Also when our DPL listens, she will pick up any bad edits and tell you (e.g. "at 2:43") so you can go back and check/cut repeats etc.
Once you've done it a couple of times, it gets a lot easier, so hang in there

May I have 12 - The White Cat?
Android users - try Orthografiend, a free word game from the maker of Checker.
If you do stop (and assuming you're using Audacity), you can force it to start up again on the same track by holding down the shift key as you hit record.Lynnet wrote:Lilaread wrote:Question: If I make a mistake and "start over" from a certain point, can I still use that recording? This file just needs a little noise cleaning.
Lovely story, Deon. I enjoyed listening.
