obviously, if anything needs fixin', let me know.
Lovely! This is all PL OK - can't wait to hear more from this character!

In terms of fixin' I've got a tap here that's leaking a bit... Or did you just mean the recording? No, that's fine!

Great yarn spinning!

There's a repeat of "he turned his head and looked at me" at 09:36.

There's one line missing at 14:12 "Jest so—jest so,"

Nice chuckle effect at the end - love this characterization! :9:

 . and by the way, I am open to all suggestions and comments that you may wish to make to improve good old Captin Jim. Seriously. I am still feeling my way here, so if there is something that just doesn't ring true or sound right let me know.

Thanks, Caprisha! It's adorable that your daughter got a kick out of Mrs. Lynde. :) I think she might actually be my favorite character.

Well, she is certainly memorable! Lol! I think most people know a gossipy old woman, who thinks she is always right and may seem a bit severe, but at the end of the day, really does have a good heart...even if she isn't quite sure how best to communicate it. Lol!

Chloe is my best critic. Bless her heart, she 'gets' to listen to all of the files (either during recording or post). Then, she has that candor that children possess. Brutal, but true. :D
