Chapter II

The following is Durand’s narrative:—
“As you know, Monsieur Le Capitaine (he always called my father so), I am a Frenchman, fond of liberty and change, and this detestable prison became so very irksome to me..

Chapter VI

this chapter contains a table. it is easy to read though :)

Scale of Charges per Annum for Burners of various sizes, calculated for lighting to the hours below mentioned:—
Till 8 o’Clock. No 1: 3 pounds. No 2: 2 pounds 14 shillings. No 3: 2 pounds 2 shillings. One Batwing: 2 pounds 14 shillings.
Till 9 o’Clock. No 1: 3 pounds 18 shillings. No 2: 3 pounds 5 shillings. No. 3: 2 pounds 14 shilling. One Batwing: 3 pounds 5 shillings.
Till 10 o’Clock. No 1: 4 pounds 16 shillings. No. 2: 4 pounds. No. 3: 3 pounds 7 shillings. One Batwing: 4 pounds.
Till 11 o’Clock. No 1: 5 pounds 12 shillings. No. 2: 4 pounds 14 shillings. No. 3: 3 pounds 18 shillings. One Batwing: 4 pounds 14 shillings.
Till 12 o’Clock. No. 1: 6 pounds 8 shillings. No. 2: 5 pounds 8 shillings. No. 3: 4 pounds 10 shillings. One Batwing: 5 pounds 8 shillings.
(Note: no is number, and a batwing is some sort of coat. please doublecheck the numbers to make sure i didnt type them out wrong here.

I am a new reader and will do the one-minute test for feedback before I get started. I'm not new to audio recording, but new to voice recording. If there is anything else you need me to be aware of (I've read the information and FAQ about the process and other tips), please let me know.
