Libby, do you want the narrator files to be named using the chapter number or the MW section number, as Bob's done? Either is fine as far as I'm concerned--I can just see it getting confusing in editing if the file names don't relate to the chapter names.

Moving this to Dramatic Works!

For the preface, it doesn't really matter, since the narrator is the only person in it, but otherwise I'd prefer the files to be named: returnnative_[role]_[book #]_[chapter #]

having claimed saint george i now realise that role i would really like to read is Grandfer Cantle (I am the right age and i would love to do the songs)

can i either read both parts (they are not in the same chapters) or switch to Grandfer

Yes, you can read both parts! As a note to everyone: please sign up for as many parts as you like, as long as they are not in the same chapters (it would be a bit weird for you to have a conversation with yourself)

Both the preface and chapter 1 are PL OK. Since chapter 1 is only the narrator and doesn't need any editing, I've uploaded the final file. Bob, can you record a voice credit? Just add "The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy. Dramatis Personae. Narrated by [your name]" to the beginning for your next recording. I can cut it into the Preface file. Thanks!

I'm still looking for a DPL. I can do some until I find one, but I expect I'll get behind fairly quickly.
