Oh yes the intro and dedication. Was saving that for last on purpose. But, I don't have the text, and for the silliest reason. Earlier last year Italy blocked the Gutenburg.org site due to copyright considerations (??, try getting your head around that), and since my VPN is here in Italy I can't access the text.

So a favor. Could you copy the intro (Section 0) in a word file and attach here? And if that's not possible, send to:

Thank you!

I don't get it - if you don't have access to the text, what exactly have you been reading from then?
You do know that we need a) a public domain text and b) the text as written, right?

In any case, here's three versions of this book on archive from 1903, which are perfectly fine for us to use:
https://archive.org/details/texts?and%5B%5D=Lucretia+Borgia+by+Ferdinand+Gregorovius&sin=

You can remove your email address now, best not to have it harvested...

Oh, have no fear, I have been reading all along from the gutenburg text! I had copied all of the last chapters before the block took place last May. The intro was the only one left and yes, I should have been able to get it from the archive.org site. Thanks, Availle, and no worries. :)

Section 32 is PL OK. This story certainly ends differently than I would have expected.

Don't worry, Ava. If there had been deviations from the Gutenberg text, I would have raised the red flag. But the reading has been word-for-word from the Gutenberg text.

Yes, I thought so once I saw that you actually had PL notes.

Good to mention the text policy every now and then though - I know there are many lurkers on the forums who take how-to cues left and right.
