One week and a day to get this done! :D I'll take 06, 15 and 12 (or anything you need) :) Do you mind if I just say "read by Charlotte Duckett" because I don't think I can say the names :)

Oops - I'm sorry I haven't seen this before... seems my notifications are off for this thread as well...

Cat, you can have 12 and 15 - I'm afraid the little ox is clearly a male role. You could, of course always play with the "change pitch" option in audacity... It might be a good idea to try this for the laugh already, I see this as a more devilish role... But then again, Elizabeth did a great Mephisto in one of Marlowe's plays...

bala, welcome to this project, and yes, you can do baby Jesus. Please give me several versions of the line so we have some variation in the play. Please use the German pronunciation "Jeh-soos" for your voice credit.

Cat, could you at least try to do the German role names? If you need help with pronunciation, dict.leo.org is an online dictionary where you can listen to the words as well. Most of them at least.

Thanks to both of you, and sorry for the delay.
Cheers, Ava.

Hi

I learnt a little bit a of deutsch, if i am not mistaken Jesus is pronounced like 'Yesus'.
The script says 'Schmatzen' or 'Smacking' for jesus.
I watched the performance you uploaded, the sound was made by smacking the floor like a drum.
But smacking also refers to the sound babies do with their lips when eating.
I am not sure which is appropriate here.

I'd say little Jesus is eating here. Babies are always hungry.

And yes, your pronunciation is correct! I know how it should sound, but I always have troubles writing it down so that English speaking people can understand what I mean...

Thanks Bala!

Looks like the project is stagnant. I will record the roles of

Zurufe der Knechte
and
Nageln

but I cannot comprehend the lines for Nageln
It goes like this
Nageln: – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

cheers

HI Bala,

thanks for claiming - "zurufe der Knechte" is yours.

The "nageln" part is actually meant to be real hammering and nailing. I will check this out in the weekend myself.
Cheers, Ava.
