Hi BellonaTimes, your section #44 is PLed. The recording is good. The overall volume is on the low side and with quite a bit of variation in volume with fairly low softer parts. Other than that it is PL OK. :)

Hi Libby, your section #6 is PL OK. :D

Greetings Kajo

Why are you so unconfident about your recording? :D
Listening too closely to the squelchy bits comes naturally to a lot of technicians {reminds me of Dad}. Knowing how cranking up the volume introduces more distortion reminds me there's limits on these silicon-based playback-systems I'd need vacuum tubes to fix. I'm sorry if my auto-flagellation came across as groundless, but you oughta hear how the way Grandma {Dad's mom} rips into less-than-pristine AudioBooks coming out of professional studios.

My ears, however, are not deaf to your praises, and my heart will keep your assurances close, in future; thank you, Kajo, very, very much.

Thanks, again, for all the confidence-boosters!

Please, Leni, sign me up for Section 41 [Brief Life Is Here Our Portion, by Bernard of Cluny] and Section 50 [Selected poems, by Bion].

Hi, Leni; you're really on top of the game--as I see Section 41 already has my name on it in the MW--this weekend...moreso than am I. I'll beg if you want me to: may I {unless it's being held in reserve?} also claim Section 50? I've actually been reading {kinda} some of that same Bion in the Greek, so I was thrilled to see it in this collection. It's not like I can read everything I request simultaneously, ergo, no rush. Have more of good weekend, while you're at it, and thanks, as ever.

Oops, I forgot Bion! Funny thing, because I noticed you had requested that section, even thought you were claiming all things Greek - the Grammar and now Bion! So sorry I forgot it, section 50 assigned!

Hi MaryAnn,

Good reading! 'Book-stores and books' is a very nice story! :D
Section 31 is PL OK!
In section 30 I stumbled across the date 1857 as year of death (at 02:01) but as part of the title the year of death is stated as 1887. Other than that it is also PL OK!

Greetings Kajo

Hi Pamela, thanks for your recording. Section 34 is PL OK! Some of the letters are pretty love-stoned: 'Ever thine. Ever mine. Ever each other's.'

Here's this:

Section: 50 - Selected poems, by Bion

And please permit me to claim Section 13 [A Feast, by Joel Barlow]
