Hi Carolyne and welcome to LibriVox !

You are most welcome to read section 7. I just listened to your 1 minute test. all the tech specs are fine but the volume is too low. Currently it is about 80 decibels and we aim at 89 decibels.

Before you record the section, let's try to get that volume up a bit. Move the input volume all the way up if you are using Audacity or if some other program.

1. increase the volume and upload another test to the test thread or you can upload it right in this thread.

2. There are some pops in your test caused by your breath hitting the microphone. TRy to move it to the side of your mouth and closer to increase the volume.

Be patient Carolyne, you will be recording in just a short time but it is best to get these things cleared up before starting. :D  Image

Thanks Tara. And I agree; these are great stories by a master story teller. I plan to post another bunch of her stories next month, unless the hurricane hits us. Zoroaster the Zombie approves of your upload....Image

Hello Phil,

I'd like sections 10 and 18, if I may.

Thanks,
Raz

Sorry to hear that Ian. Please let us know when you might be available for other projects and thanks for your help over the summer. Hey, why not start a LibriVox club at your highschool

As you read in the previous post, Ian, our High School DPL is having internet problems and can no longer do it for us.
So I am asking if any of you good people might be interested in the job. ...Image

Checking in - my Internet is down, so I won't be able to record until next weekend.
