Conan finally meets his match in Belit, the fierce, bloodthirsty and scantily clad pirate Queen. She also is unable to resist the huge, blue eyed, iron thewed barbarian who literally sweeps her off her feet. Together they become pirates of legend and are the scourge of the Black Coast. They venture up the river of death where no one has gone in centuries and lived, in search of plunder, battle and adventure. And get get more of all three than they could wish for. Hi Britannia! The first chapter in this bloody but yet sensitive story is up.
Note that the quality of this may be a bit odd. I am trying to reduce the amount of noise picked up by my mic and an experimenting with moving my recording into a tiny closet. The acoustics are not the best yet and mic placement is problematic but it IS cozy in there. The higher frequencies have been reduced significantly but there seems to be way too much lower end. But little things like that don't stop me from recording! Hopefully by the time this story is finished my itty bitty nook will be set up correctly. In any case, I am indeed having fun and hope you are too.
Thank you again for letting me DPL this project, Phil. I took much pleasure in your reading it.
And thank you for doing it. The story was much too short; I thought there would be much more about Belite and her adventures but ..... she was a tough woman nevertheless.
my last Conan story (don't want to claim them all) will be posted soon and I will let you know.
Hello Phil !
I was also expectiong and hoping for a longer story... But the end always seems to come too soon with those kind of spellbinding narratives.
Thanks for the heads up about the forthcoming Conan's solo ! I don't mind waiting a week, that will leave me some time to sit my end of year exams . Plus Oz... yay !
