Yep, I've seen it! I remember when the whole thing used to be available online for free...

Lebowski was practically an obsession of everyone I knew in grad school. Friends of ours had a Lebowski-themed Halloween party, and I think my husband and I can probably quote the whole movie to this day. Say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude - at least it's an ethos.

and how do you pronounce Ahm? and I am only half kidding...

omnes is Latin, right? in my understanding it would be ohm-ness, no?

Either would work. However, it doesn't really matter--you don't need to read the word. 'Omnes' is just Latin for 'All' so it's not a separate character from the conspirators, it just means everyone is speaking together.

Here are the Conspirators (all lines, because I'm no good at scrolling up the page to find acts!) without Omnes:

Can you do me a huge favor, Cat? Can you please include the lines for Omnes in the Conspirators file, and split it up by act? I know it's annoying but it really is SO much easier when I come to edit to have everything divided by act. I've put the act numbers in which characters appear in the Magic Window, which should make it a little bit easier to find your lines and submit separate files for each act.

Yeah sure! After all, you had to cope with Mafio Petrucci in one file (actually my second Dramatic performance!). I'll do it later tonight (the Olympic Opening Ceremony is about to start! :D )

Here's the President of the Nihilists:

I resisted the urge to throw in the occasional, "It's not fair! His girlfriend cut off her toe!" Or possibly, "We want ze money, Lebowski."

Seriously, though, this play looks totally wacky and awesome. :)

Oh also--since Conspirators are being read by more than one person, please include your initials in the filename.

Thanks, Elizabeth! Yes, it's completely bizarre (in a good way.)

I hope I didn't miss any lines... (and I might have gone a bit Dalek on them... )

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/al/veraorthenihilists_conspiratoromnes_1.mp3 1:11

I am happy to rerecord any bits you think do not fit :)

Edit: In the last act almost at the end there is this bit
(Loud shouts in the street, "Vera! Vera! To the rescue! To the rescue!")
which in the context I think are the conspirators... should we record that as well? (we could stand away from the mic and it might sound like it's coming from far away :D)
