From a SWEDISH Homestead by Selma Lagerloef (1858 - 1940) . Translated by Jessie Broechner ( - ).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/from-a-swedish-homestead-by-selma-lagerloef/
Under construction ;) (Summary by Lars Rolander)
  • Target completion date: 2013-Jan-01
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://archive.org/details/fromaswedishhom00lagegoog
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard - Elli will PL :D

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Thank You!
I'll start putting in names/titles for the different sections shortly.

It is a special feeling every time a new project is begun.

Now I have added the titles to the sections of this collection. So now we can begin.
- And, in fact, I couldn't help myself, so I recorded the first section late last night. But it might take a bit of time before I can edit it, as I'm in the middle of editing chapters for my other projects at the moment. But the one who waits for something good .....

Section 03 has been uploaded.
It is, perhaps, a rather long section this time, but I just couldn't break it down into two parts here. I think you will see why while listening to it.

So section 03 begins at: --- “IV - It is quite certain the sun loves the open places outside the small village churches.” And it ends with: --- “curtsying and curtsying to every horse he met.”
